Paris, 2 July 2018
For the attention of investors in FCP Sextant Autour du Monde
From 9 July 2018, Amiral Gestion will delegate the financial management of some assets of the SEXTANT AUTOUR DU MONDE mutual fund (hereafter « the fund ») to its Singapore-incorporated subsidiary, AMIRAL RESEARCH, which will shortly be renamed Amiral Gestion Singapore. Amiral Research holds a Capital Markets Service Licence (CMLS) granted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on 28 May 2018.
Following this decision to delegate management of these assets in a sub-portfolio, the strategy will mainly be stock-picking in Asian equities. The objective is to optimise the selection process for Asian stocks by a local team, which has the appropriate human resources and techniques to provide more in-depth analysis and tracking and to enjoy closer relations with the management of the companies that issues these stocks. Note that Amiral Gestion (Paris) will continue to follow and manage Asian stocks and to seek new investment ideas.
Similarly, Amiral Gestion (Paris) will retain the administrative and accounting functions of the fund and will implement the necessary controls at its subsidiary for the activities with which it has been entrusted.
